For the GMi Open Access WiFi Network only
1. Make sure you’re in a GMi coverage zone
Our network is live at:
- 18th Street, Menlo Park
- Hazelwood
- Parkzicht Apartments (Pretoria Central)
2. Join the WiFi network
- Open your device’s Wi‑Fi settings
- Select GMi Open Access WiFi
3. Launch the captive portal
- Once connected, open your browser
- You’ll be auto‑redirected to the GMi login page
4. Pick your access option
- Free session – Tap One‑Time Click Login for a 15‑minute trial (per device, per day)
- Extended access – Buy a data voucher for more time or higher data limits
5. How to purchase a data voucher
- Go to our GMi Wi‑Fi Vouchers page
- Choose from: 1 GB, 15 GB or 25 GB packages
- All vouchers stay valid for 30 days from activation
6. Activate your voucher
- Return to the portal
- Enter your voucher code in the field provided
